Oncology visit

The GYN oncologist requested to see me that same day, February 3rd. This is the head of GYN oncology and the best in our area and he was going to work me in that day?? I knew that was all God. He made a way.

The fear and sadness hit me like a ton of bricks when I walked through the doors and saw the word "oncology" on the sign...it was gut wrenching. How was this happening to me? The appointment went as well as could be expected. We had a game plan, but unfortunately my surgery couldn't be scheduled until a month later due to the oncologist going out of town. That really worried me, but I felt confident in the plan and I had to trust the doctors.

Over the next few days my pain and discomfort really got worse and I started to get even more scared (if that was even possible). On February 7th I got a call from the oncology office that my surgery had been moved up to February 9th!!! The doctor was going to work me in before he left to go out of town. Once again, GOD made a way.
